Boubín (1362 m above sea level) (German: Kubani, Kubany) is a mountain in the Boubín Highlands, the fifth highest peak in the Czech part of Šumava and the third highest in the South Bohemian Region.

On Boubíno you can find a wooden lookout tower called Dřevěná rozhlednu. The lookout tower offers a view of Vimperk, Prachatice, Bobík hill, Boubín ridge and, in good weather, the Alps. There are 109 steps leading to the observation platform.

The lookout tower is accessible by train or by car from Kubova Hut and from there along a 4 km long blue trail.

Entrance to the tower is charged.
